Brothers... gotta love 'em!!

      Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen

Interviewer: "Were you the big brother who beat up all the bullies for your sister and brothers?"

Emilio: "No, I beat up my sister and brothers. (laughs) Well, not my sister. I was pretty mellow with her. My brother Ramon, I probably mistreated him on several occasions. And Charlie, I threatened to kill on numerous occasions. We'd have terrible fights... terrible, terrible fights. I threatened to throw him off a balcony when we lived in Rome, and I think that's something I don't know if he's ever gotten over.
We had a fight that was so bad, all the windows in the house were open I threatened to kill him... he went after me with a baseball bat, he threw a chicken sandwhich at me across the house. It was just... it was nuts! Well the neighbors heard "I'll kill you, I'll kill you, I'll kill you" [knock, knock, knock] 11:00 at night there are four police officers standing at the door saying "Who's going to kill who now?" And Charlie and I had to look at each other and laugh 'cause it had reached absurd proportions. Y'know, the level of ridiculousness and I think that was a major turning point for he and I.
I remember fights where I had jumped kicked him back into the refrigerator and then he came at me with a spoon and my Mom seperating us with a spatula. (laughs) I mean, it was just completely insane, completely nuts. But we're okay... thank God." (laughs)

      Interviewer: "How old were you?"

      Emilio: "We were kids... 12-13."
